“Biig WAVE” hosted the ‘2nd Investment Attraction Business Plan Presentation’ including 5 bio startups at COEX in Seoul on the 10th.
Biig WAVE, operated by Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, had previously held an investment attraction business plan presentation event in Incheon in July.
This event was attended by 250 industry officials, including 10 startups selected as Bigwave support targets, and among them, 5 bio companies: VS Pharm Tech, Astrogen, INEXOPLAT, Baobab AiBIO, and ABLE Labs.
INEXOPLAT is a company developing exosome-based immunotherapies for solid tumor treatment. It aims to overcome the side effects of non-targeted immune activators using the targeting properties of exosomes. INEXOPLAT is also developing stable-quality products based on QbD (Quality by Design) strategies from the early development stages.
Lee Han-seop, director of the Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, said, “We will support the next-stage growth of competent startups to attract successful investment and expand globally.”
Meanwhile, Biig WAVE has succeeded in attracting investment with a scale of over 80 billion won through the recruitment of 39 startups in 2021-2022, and this year’s first-half recruitment recorded a competition ratio of 20:1 with over 200 startups applying.
