INEXOPLAT Selected for Ministry of SMEs and Startups TIPS Program

On the 13th, INEXOPLAT announced that it has been finally selected for the TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup) by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The TIPS program is a private investment-led technology startup support program that selects and nurtures promising startups with the technological capabilities to lead the global market. INEXOPLAT received investment from Y&ARCHER in 2021 and was recommended for TIPS.

The theme of this TIPS project is the “Development of processes and analysis methods for the production of medical exosomes.” INEXOPLAT aims to contribute to overcoming hurdles and advancing technology in the exosome industry by implementing cultivation and purification processes for the mass production of exosome pharmaceuticals, for which standardized processes do not yet exist.

After being selected for TIPS, INEXOPLAT attracted follow-up investment from ViNe Ventures. Through the TIPS selection and subsequent investment, the company plans to focus on refining the production process of its anti-cancer immunotherapy and preparing for the production of clinical materials.

Kim Sung-hwan, CEO of INEXOPLAT, expressed delight, stating, “I am pleased to have been selected for the TIPS program amid the frozen investment sentiment in the biotech industry.” He added, “This recognition of INEXOPLAT’s CMC expertise in exosome pharmaceuticals provides an opportunity, and through this TIPS project, we will conduct research on the standardized production process for exosome pharmaceuticals.”
